Vallarino
He was born in Imperia in
1977.
At 21 he published his first book Ombre (tr. Shadows, Dominici
Editore, 1998), a collection of short stories ranging from science fiction
to noir, which has had very good reviews.
In 1998 he was finalist at Courmayeur Prize with the novelette
"Il sopravvissuto" (tr. "The survivor"), published in Ombre.
In 2001 he was second at Italia Prize with the short story
"Onde" (tr. "Waves"), published in the magazine Futuro
Europa, the "european science fiction review".
His short stories have been published in anthologies and magazines by
Addictions, Stampa Alternativa, Fanucci, Perseo, Keltia, Ghost, Kipple. He's
a contributor to various newspapers and magazines, such as Il Secolo XIX
and M-Rivista del mistero. He has taken part in broadcast
transmissions and in national and international events, like the Courmayeur Noir
in Festival and the Turin Book Fair.
He's a member of alosi.it, the worldwide acknowledged independent
writers' online literary agency. He lives in Imperia, where he has an
intense activity as organizer of cultural events. He's represented in Italy
and elsewhere by Roberta Oliva Literary Agency, Milan.
